Another one in the series...Fall Landscape painting in West Virginia.

5" x 8" on 140 lb moleskin sketchbook paper. 

Moving away from what is literal is a hard transition to make when one has only ever thought about how to be specific. Here, I am not trying to be specific at all, rather, to allow the colors and the landscape forms to blend as one.
