Landscape Meditation.

For me, the trees seems to emerge from the abstract nature of the background. This is a quality I am now following in my work. This is becoming a series of paintings that may turn into a small published book. Certainly they are driving the weaving pieces I am doing (I am also a weaver of large scale wall hangings that are hand painted).  More to come!

Landscape #2. White Marsh. 

Silent and distant are the waters of the deep ocean. When I am at the ocean, beach, I get lost in time listening to the waves move their magic at the land's edge.

Part of my daily creative practice. First, I go through my daily meditations, then I either paint or weave. I whole series has begun to evolve. Maybe I will publish the series. 

Kind-of takes me back to my Italy series - 36 paintings showing my trip to Italy summer 2007. At any rate, they are fun. I am not concerned with a landscape, per se', but that is what is coming through in most cases.
