Daily painting October 20, 2006.
I spent two hours with this painting today. Simply wash over wash. Two women whom I am in contact with and admire posed for this. Thank you both. I am trying to capture the exchange of one person with another. A quiet time. This painting is a watercolor, 9"h x 8"w on Arhces

I just spent the past three hours in my studio. I have begun a series of oil paintings 6 x 6. I am not going to decide ahead of time what I will paint each day, but for the next week I will paint a painting every day. I am so inspire and driven right now to do this. I thank Duane Keiser for this and the countless others who have followed. My eyes can not stay open much longer. I will post the daily painting tomorrow when it dries.
