Xmas Decorations Still Life acrylic and color stix

This is on 12" x 12" white drawing paper. Quite fun really. Stain the paper with a fine layer or two of acrylic paint. then work in dense saturate technique to complete the drawing on the dried stained ground. Sometime working in this way allows you to react to the ground, while other times it simply helps to affect your overall tonal quality.
Either way, sure is fun to play with color!
