"Watercolor Figures Walking Guy in New York City"

Another from our trip - how amazing it is! Most interesting was the taxi drive. Our driver was telling us how in preparation for the Big Apple Celebration city workers have begun to weld the manhole covers closed and will remove anything normally loose on the street such as post office boxes. 29,000 Police officers will be among the 1 and 1/2 million people in Times Square on new Year's Eve. It is not a little event here!

Everybody is in a hurry to get somewhere, but when you are at a stop light that turns red, you had better stop. Teaching our daughter to look for the little walking guy to give us the okay to walk has been a treat.
