Route 46 Barns

I know it has been a long time since I posted anything. I have been away at a painting workshop, grades were due, and then to New Jersey to see Rick's parents. On the way home, Rick stopped for me to take a bunch of pictures of a farm that I have loved since I was little. There was a new blanket of snow covering the ground. It was breathtaking.

This painting and the ones to follow are all from one picture actually. How inspired I have been and focused on seeing the same place in varied light and technique. A break from the figure work - focusing on the same issues - light, sense of place and atmosphere.

11"x 30" watercolor on Fabriano 300lb hot press.

$425.00
